The common mistake that most adults and teens make is that they assume a twin will be large enough for their needs. While most adults might be content with this size, most twin size cheap loft beds for kids are specifically designed for kids only – and that includes their weight rating. In most cases, a twin sized metal loft bed will not last very long if used by an adult.

While we like to stretch our dollar as far as we possibly can, it’s important that you find a good, sturdy loft bed that will last you a while. There are some really cheap loft beds out there today that are very poor quality, and not manufactured with safety in mind. Many of these loft bunk beds are similar in design to more popular loft beds (if not identical) but lack in quality, such as; lack of bracing, thin metal frames, poorly constructed welds, poor quality hardware and difficult to assemble (parts missing, misaligned holes for hardware, etc).
